Spring Break 2016: Roadtrip to Utah

Salam

Kali ni nk update cerita pasal our trip to Utah masa spring break 2016

We plan our trip like 2 weeks before that

pergi 2 buah kereta

1 kereta girls and 1 kereta boys

total is 10 of us icluding our mama angka kat sini

we begin our journey from tempe, arizona around 11am

journey estimated to be 6 hours

but with all stops we made during the journey, we ended up arrived in Utah after 8 hours 

ye la,4 kali berenti haha

berenti flagstaff isi minyak,keluar kereta menggigil sejuk 

lupa pulak kt flagstaff time tu sejuk and still ada salji haha

sebab kt tempe dah panas time tu

the next stop is Lake Powell Dam

kalau kat malaysia yg empangan pergau la

tp diorang punya lg besar obviously

then we stop at Page,Arizona which is at the border of Arizona-Utah

stop untuk solat and makan

then we continue our journey to Utah

sampai sana dh gelap gelita dh

terus check in hotel and keluar dinner dekat restoran yg dekat2 dgn hotel

jalan punya la berliku masa nk masuk kwsn hotel tu'boleh bawak 20--30 miles per hour je

Ni mama angkat kami kat sini. Dia from sg.petani tpi dah berpuluh tahun duduk US :)

esoknya awal pg kami bertolak utk mulakan ekspedisi

Zion National Park, Utah ni besar sgt

keluasan ni lebih kurang 229.1 mi²

ada byk aktiviti boleh buat (riverside walk,rock climbing,hiking)

kitorang buat riverside walk and hiking je'tu pong pilih bukit yang paling rendah and kecik haha

tu pon ambik masa sejam jugak la bukit rendah pon

rasa terbakar semua lemak2 haha

After that we continue our journey back to Arizona-Utah border

Our next stop is Horseshoebend which is just 1-2hours from Zion and located in Page,Arizona

Then we check in to the nearby hotel

Malam tu we have dinner dekat Thai restaurant

masa ni boleh pulak terserempak dgn malaysian from pennsylvania

budak2 yg study kat upenn

diorang dtg trip ke west coast

sempat la berborak kejap

malam tu tido nyenyak sgt sbb penat giler kan

esok pg kami pergi antelope canyon

kalau sape2 pernah tgk movie 127 hours 

kt sini la dia berlakon

sgt indah ciptaan Allah

ternganga kejap masa mula2 masuk

insyaAllah nanti nk bawak fmly pergi sini

then we continue our journey to the Grand Canyon

which is 1hour++ from Antelope

Arizona ni byk tmpt menarik especially kalau sesiapa yg minat tgk nature sgtlah sesuai

for me,pergi vegas tu rasa biasa je

pergi tgk nature mcm ni lebih puas

next nak pergi niagara falls pulak to jauh kat east coast sana tp not impossible

kena start kumpul duit lebih

 merenung nasib di grand canyon ke dik? haha

ketar lutut tu sebenarnya duduk kt tepi gaung tinggi

Itu sahaja nukilan untuk kali ini

continue my boring life as a phd student

10-6 dok mengadap komputer kat ofis

malam balik tido

repeat everyday until weekend

weekend pon kadang2 masuk ofis jugak

begitulah kehidupan

part seronoknya time berjalan tu je haha
