CVPR (Computer Vision Pattern Recognition) 2016 Conference

Assalamualaikum pembaca blog hitam putih kehidupan sekalian

Susah sikit nk update blog skrg sbb dah xde apps blogger dlm fon

so liat lah nk update kt laptop,xde masa sgt

so far perjalanan hidup masih teratur lg la kot

officially a second year phd student(omg!!!!)

how come i survived hahaha

alhamdulillah

doakan i dpt cepat2 grad on time yer (target:2019)

ok,alang2 dah cerita pasal phd ni,let me tell u a little bit about my current progress lah before i continue with a very very very long post about my trip to malaysia

as u guys know (kalau baca post2 before this lah),i have to take classes and do research at the same time

so,its a little bit kucar kacir hidup for the first year

xleh nk focus on research sgt

sbb kelas2 kt sini sgt tough

programming assignment dia amek masa 2 minggu nk siapkan

so bayangkan kalau ambik dua subjek n each subjek tu memg hard core programming dia bgi

pening lalat hakak haha

every week akan ada group meeting

starting from fall 2015 memg xpernah fail lah...group meeting memg sentiasa berjalan lancar except for summer(sbb prof balik china for a month and most of us xde kt ofis)

so, every group meeting tu (atau lebih dikenali dgn journal club),akan ada seorang or 2 org from our group kena present journal or conference paper

maka bermulalah sesi menelaah paper

menelaah punya menelaah,xjumpa2 pon nk fokus apa utk phd research

tp at the same time ada la tolong group members utk research project diorang

tp for my own project memg no clue

sbb this is a new field for me

masa master my main focus is image processing and machine learning

tp for now,bertukar ke geometry analysis

totally different la

ada la berkait sikit2 tp sikitttt sgtlah berkaitnya

then masa summer tu, prof bawak all his phd student pergi international conference held in las vegas (fully sponsored by him)

conference tu from 25jun-2julai

and my flight back to malaysia was on 4julai

kucar kacir kejap

gelabah xhingat

sbb smpai arizona dah ptg 2julai

mana nk basuh baju,nk kemas rumah sbb nk tinggal sebulan(rumah kena la bersih and clear kan),mana nk packing baju hahaha

nasib baik semua ole2 dh siap packing before i went to las vegas

ok back to my research story

masa pergi conference tu ada la beberapa research yg menarik perhatian i

then i chose some paper to present during my group meeting for this semester

then i found this paper which is really related to our work

then i pon present that paper and my professor really like it

finally aku dpt decide apa yg aku nk buat for my phd research

alhamdulillah

 when in vegas, we ate buffet

well,mirror selfie guys..hakak jarang nk pakai smart2 mcm ni hahaha selalu pergi ofis pkai jeans n tshirt je (typical phd student)

buffet everyday (sponsored trip be like) hehe
