Trip to the cowboy land

Alright, kalau sape2 yg baca post iv fellowship UMP aku mesti tahu yg aku memang aim nk sambung dkt Texas

Texas was my very first choice!!

And i did applied to Uni of Texas at Austin tp xde rezeki

jodoh dgn cactus land lagi kuat hehe

kawan aku yg pergi iv fellowship sama2 dulu,dia yg dpt texas!!!

so apa lg,aku pon memg xkan lepaskan peluang utk visit

so lepas balik from NYC, xsempat tido, terus unpack luggage and pack barang ke Texas sbb i have to catch the flight the morning after

i didn't expect Dallas to be cold taw

pergi sana pakai jacket biasa je la

not the thick one

tp sampai2 je dallas, 2 degree, i was like menggigil masa tunggu my friend(kak fiza) and her husband (abg refie) dtg pick me up at the airport

diorang tinggal dekat college station sbb kakfiza smbg phd dekat Texas A&M Uni

it was 2 hours driving xsilap from dallas

we spent the night dekat hotel somewhere in dallas sbb diorang kena pergi wedding sedaa abg refie yg tinggal dkt dallas

the next day we drove back to college station

it was a small town and not so busy like tempe and phoenix

lg aman aku rasa

kat tempe ni serabut dgn ramai manusia 

i like it!!

i spent 5 days with them

diorang bawak pergi jalan2 dkt austin which is 1 hour plus drive

singgah la dkt uni idaman i (Uni of Texas at Austin)

it was sooooo beautiful!!!

i like austin so much!!!

visit capitol city

xde pergi jalan2 sgt masa kt texas sbb abg refie keje and kakfiza pon ada research group meeting

masa kakfiza meeting,aku lepak libry uni dia

boleh catch up dgn my research reading

sunyi sgt kampus sbb most student balik kampung kan

yg tinggal graduate student je ler

kakfiza request me to cook nasi kerabu

kitorang pergi shopping dekat asian market dkt dallas

beli semua keperluan utk masak nasi kerabu

best giler dpt masak sama2 like old times

if u guys didn't know,kakfiza used to be my roomate masa undergrad and my housemate masa buat master kt unisza dulu

that is why we are so closed

kakfiza dah kenal dah aku ni mcm mana and she know how to handle my craziness pretty well hahahhaha

good friends stick forever guys

in life, we may have hundreds of friend but only the good one will stay with us *mata masuk habuk guys* haha

and i think that all for now

and obviously there will be a bunch more post on texas trip haha

sbb kak fiza is expecting and for sure i will go visit!!! :P

they are my family here.. family kena visit slalu right heheh...

lagipon it is easier for me to travel because i'm single

for them to come here, that will cost them a lot, so i'm willing to go heheh

Throwback trip: Welcome to New York! (part 5)

oh heyy

now is the last day story of our nyc trip

our flight to phoenix should be at 3pm 

we should check out at 12

so before that apa lagi jalan2 la sebab xsempat nk pergi central park

so we use this opportunity to go to central park

and surprisingly, pagi tu snowing

not heavily but enough to make everything look white

it was so pretty!!!!

because everything seems so clean, so pure

we can see parents dok layan anak2 main snow from our hotel room

budak2 kan memg excited

xkira dah sejuk kt luar tu hahaha

kami pon lg la excited

not the first time tgk snow but first time experience snow fall

before this pergi2 memang dah tempat main salji pon kat flagstaff,arizona tu

then after coffee,terus kitorang pergi central park by bus

tinggal dlu beg kt hotel

sbb xjauh pon central park from our hotel

sempat pergi jalan2 and photoshoot kejap

then nampak cafe ala2 hipster

alang2 kami xmakan lg, terus amek brunch

sbb before keluar td minum coffee je

tu pon xsempat habis

buang je

kt kedai tu kami mkn waffle and minum hot chocolate

the best brunch in that cold weather

then kami balik ke hotel smula utk check out

anyway kami separate into 2 groups

another 3 girls punya flight awal pagi

so mereka xsempat la pergi central park dgn kitorang

then balik hotel,check out

lepas tu dok pikir mcm mna nk g JFK airport

sbb snowing and luggage berat

kalau nk naik uber from hotel ke JFK,it will cost us $100

mahal giler sbb jauh la jugak JFK tu

out from the city kan

then kami decide to split the trip into 2

half journey kami naik uber

then half naik subway

at least xyah dah nk kena tukar2 subway

from that station yg uber hantar kitorang tu,terus je direct subway line ke airport

so we save $70 sbb cost uber dr hotel ke station tu rasanya $20 je'then subway xsmpai $5 pon

byk kan save

travel as a student memg kena bijak

bijak plan sbb kami travel within budget kan

kalau x travel lansung mcm rugi la pulak alang2 duduk sini

so kena plan betul2

smpai airport,flight delay

flight diorang lg 3 org yg suppose to depart early in the morning pon delat due to bad weather

sbb snowing kot

so kapal terbang susah nk depart and landing

end up kitorang yg gerak dulu from jfk ke phoenix

diorang have to wait couple more hours after that

tp xpe yg penting semua happy and selamat

kami smpai phoenix around 10pm macam tu

then aku kena catch another flight ke texas next morning at 5am

bayang kan

xtido weh

mata merah hahaha

semua ni angkara nk tiket murah ler

then balik rumah xsempat nk laundry bagai

baggage utk g texas memang aku dah siap2 pack before gerak pergi nyc

so xde masalah la

balik amndi n lepas depan tv je

xberani nk lepak ats katik tkut tetido and miss flight

around 4am dah gerak g airport naik uber

nasib baik la rumah aku ni dekat dgn airport

i mean xde la dekat giler,around 15-20 mins jugak depeds on traffic

tp okay la kan

nti aku update pasal Texas trip...soon insyaAllah :P

now lets continue to 4th day in NYC!!!!

misi hari ke4 adalah berjalan2 di SOHO,NYU(new york university) and makan di restoran makanan malaysia (RASA), rockefeller center,times square

so pg tu kitorang naik subway pergi SOHO dulu

jalan2 je usha

then jalan ke washington square park which is dekat je dgn NYU

sempat la shooting kejap kt situ

then kitorang pergi makan brunch dekat RASA

byk giler weh kitorang makn

sedap sgt and berbaloi 

then after that kitorang solat di surau NYU

meriah sebab hari jumaat

kami smpai masa imam tgh bagi khutbah

after that teruskan perjalanan pergi rockefeller center

yg ada pokok krismas terbesar tu

tour ni pon included dlm pakej 

ada sorang staff yg bawak kitorang pusing2 n cerita sejarah2 di sebalik terbinanya bangunan megah d tgh2 kota tu

rockefeller center ni ada sejarah dia

panjang la nk cerita

dekat situ jugak ada bakery yg tershoro dlm cerita gossip girl, magnolia bakery

harga dia xde la mahal sgt

satu slice ada lam dlm $9 and ke atas which is affordable la jugak

tp sbb line pnjg giler,kitorang xbli pon

terus gerak pergi times square

sampai2 times square je tgk ramainya org kt red staircase tu

tp sbb dah memg tu landmark times square kan,so redahkan aje

alang2 smpai,kena la amek gmbr kt situ

xlama lepak situ sbb memg dah penat n sejuk giler

dah la aku pkai knee boots that day nk tercabut weh kaki 

then before naik subway balik ke hotel,kami beli dinner dekat halal cart je

sbb dh spend byk masa lunch dekat RASA hahaha

nah enjoy pics...
